New range of high performance steel cable net panels
3SGEOTECH® has developed and patented the new high performance steel cable net panel type 3SGEOFLEX®. It is composed by a unique galvanized steel cable connected by structural steel clamps. These innovative steel cable net panels have been designed to be used in structural applications where very high resistance flexible membranes are required.
Some of the most common uses of cable net panels type 3SGEOFLEX® are the following:
- · Support membrane inside a slope stabilization system.
- · Main catchment surface as a component in a rockfall protection kit.
- · Protection surface for industrial applications and high security fences.
Cable net panel with the highest strength capacity
The main novelty of 3SGEOFLEX® net is the use of a new structural clamp to connect the steel cables. This clamp has been designed to support the efforts transmitted by the cables without produce any damage in their structural strength and shape
In opposition to traditional steel cable net panels, 3SGEOFLEX® nets can be produced using different cables with different diameter. This innovation is possible because the special clamps are rationally and specifically designed according to the diameter of the cable used to produce 3SGEOFLEX® net.
This innovative technology and the possibility to change the size of inner rhombus of the net during the manufacturing process, allow to offer a wide range of tensile resistances. By this reason, 3SGEOFLEX® becomes a flexible membrane able to support the highest efforts in the most extreme conditions.
High flexibility and easy transport
3SGEOFLEX® net shows an extraordinary flexibility, higher than the flexibility of other cable net panels existing in the market. This property allow 3SGEOFLEX® net panels to adapt to any irregular surface.
Due to its new configuration 3SGOEFLEX® net panel can be folded like a curtain taking up a reduced space. In this way, it can be improved the efficiency during its manipulation and transport.
